Ingredients In This Fried Corn Recipe
Sweet corn kernels: I used frozen sweet corn kernels for the sake of availability and their long-term storage features.
Red chili powder: To infuse some color and heat into the corns.
Lemon juice: Lemon juice makes the flavors of all the ingredients pop more (see this article) and their citrusy notes tingle the taste buds.

Tips & Variations
Add meat: Adding chicken or bacon is a phenomenal way to make this dish more substantial and full of protein. They add their own flavor and their chewy texture gives a satisfying feeling.
Use fresh corn: Using fresh corn right off the cobs is the classic way to do it. Just be careful while shucking off the kernels from the cob using a knife.
Spice it up: Bring up the spice levels up to par with jalapenos, red chili flakes, or green chilies. Other than the spiciness, they imbue their aroma which makes the fried corn more irresistible.

Convert into a salad: If you are hunting for a hearty, healthy, and flavorful brekkie, there is nothing better than a salad, and this recipe can be made into a salad with a few additions of veggies like coleslaw, tomatoes, olives, and onions.
Pair with dips and sauces: The best way to up the ante without putting in extra effort is to drizzle in salad dressings like honey mustard lime vinaigrette, submarine dressing, or Caesar salad dressing.
To introduce a protein hit, you can also pour in this cottage cheese ranch dip.
How To Store
In the fridge: This southern fried corn recipe can be stored for 7 days in the refrigerator in an air-tight container.
In the freezer: Don’t freeze this dish in the freezer as the corn will lose all of its texture and will become soggy and mushy when thawed.
