For boiling noodles
- 250 gms Noodles
- Water as required
- Salt
- 1 tsp Oil
For Noodles Almondine
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 2 cloves Garlic chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger chopped
- 5-6 Almonds chopped
- Salt
- Cooked Noodles
In a pot, boil the noodles according to the instructions given in the package, till al dante.
In a skillet, melt butter till they are brown, and saute almonds, garlic, and ginger for 30 seconds on medium flame.
Now, add salt, and the cooked noodles, and mix them properly.
Finish the dish by sprinkling some chopped almonds on top and your almondine noodles are ready to serve.
- Use almond butter instead of normal butter: For more flavor and to keep this recipe vegan, replace yellow butter with almond butter. This will not only provide depth to the flavors but also is a much healthier option than the normal butter.
- Go for thicker noodles: If you want something more substantial, use thicker noodles like udon or fettuccine. They will lend more texture to the dish.
