Equipment

  • Blender
  • Chef Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Measuring Cups & Spoons

Ingredients

  • ¼ Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ¼ Cup Olive Oil
  • ½ Lemon squeezed
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • Black Pepper Powder a pinch
  • 1 clove Garlic minced

Instructions

  • Mince the garlic properly, get your measuring cups and spoons out, and get the proportions of the ingredients right.
  • Mix apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic olive oil, salt, and black pepper powder in a blender, and blitz them for 10 seconds.
  • Your creamy apple cider vinaigrette is ready to serve. Pour it over your salads, add it while stir-frying the veggies, or use it as a dip.

Notes

  • Honey alternatives: Instead of honey, you can go for maple syrup. It has a slightly lower sugar level than honey and its caramel-like flavor profile will keep things fresh and interesting.
  • Add more herbs: Oregano or thyme will make this dressing ten times better. Their herbal essence imbues a freshness that's unmatched. Even crushed mint can also be utilized.
  • Add Dijon mustard: Mustard helps to emulsify the vinaigrette. I did not add it because I don't like its pungent flavor, and it ruins this recipe for me. But, if that's not the case for you, Dijon mustard can be a great addition.
How to store:
This apple cider vinaigrette can be stored for up to a couple of weeks in the fridge.
Remember to keep it in an air-tight container like a glass jar to retain the flavors and avoid spoilage.
Don't freeze the dressing as it will separate the ingredients and spoil the flavors and textures.
