Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • tsp Powdered White Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • ½ Lemon (squeezed)
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • Black Pepper (a pinch)
  • 4 tbsp Water

Instructions

  • Take a bowl, and add olive oil, dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, powdered white sugar, salt, ground black pepper, and squeeze in fresh lemon. Also, add water for consistency.
  • Whisk the ingredients thoroughly till everything blends together properly, and you get the desired consistency.
  • Transfer the dressing to an air-tight container and store it in the fridge.

Notes

  • Add chopped garlic: If you don't have garlic powder at your disposal, don't worry. Mince a garlic clove and add it to the mix.
  • Add more honey instead of white sugar: If you want to make this dressing with no added sugar, simply drizzle in more honey. However, keep in mind the quantity poured.
  • Herb it up!: In order to make things more interesting, try adding herbs. You can add dried oregano, dried basil, rosemary, or a mix of herbs to freshen up the flavor profile of the vinaigrette.

How to store:
You can store away the leftover vinaigrette dressing in the fridge for 10-15 days in an air-tight container.
Don't freeze it as it may alter the texture and somewhat the flavor.
