Healthy Dry Fruit Smoothie

Running through a morning slump? Then this dry fruit smoothie is the ultimate way to revitalize your energy levels in the most delicious and easy-to-make form. Not only that, it is also loaded with essential oils and healthy fats that are gonna keep you energized for the whole day.

Ingredients
  

  • Water
  • 400 ml Milk
  • 10 Almonds
  • 5 Walnuts
  • 10 Raisins
  • 3 tbsp Honey

Instructions
 

  • Soak the dry fruits in a bowl full of water for 10 minutes.
  • Peel off the skins of the dry fruits and set them aside for further use.
  • Add the dry fruits to a high-powered blender and finely grind them.
  • Then add milk, and honey, and again blend them.
  • Transfer the smoothie to a glass and top it with chopped almonds.
  • Your dry fruit smoothie is ready to be served.

Notes

  • Choose any dry fruits: You don't have to stick to definite types of dry fruits. Whatever is at your disposal- almonds, walnuts, raisins, figs can be used in making this smoothie.
  • Honey alternative: Maple syrup is the best natural sweetener substitute for honey. Though the flavor of maple syrup is quite different, it adds a unique freshness and makes things interesting.
 
How to store:
In the fridge: This smoothie can be stored in the fridge for a couple of days in an air-tight container.
In the freezer: You can store this drink in the freezer for a month, after that the texture of the milk will alter and spoil the flavor.
