Ginger Rice Recipe
This ginger rice recipe is an excellent way to spice up any dish as it can go with essentially everything. It is a quick and simple recipe and an incredible way to use up leftover rice. Just pair this rice with curry for a decadent breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

- 2 tbsp Butter
- 3 tbsp Ginger chopped
- 2 Green chilies chopped
- 250 gms Leftover rice
- Coriander leaves
In a wok, melt butter, then add chopped ginger and green chilies, and saute them for 30 secs on high flame.
Now add the leftover rice, and mix them properly. Cook and saute them for another 30 secs on high heat.
Transfer the rice to a bowl, and finally, sprinkle some chopped coriander on top.
Your ginger rice is ready to serve. Pair it with curries, meat, or even sauteed veggies.
- Freshly-made rice: If you don't have leftover rice, you can still whip up this dish using freshly-made rice. Just remember to cook them only 70% so that they don't fall apart when sauteing them with ginger.
- Add some broth: Adding some vegetable or chicken broth to the ginger rice can make them so tasty, moist, and irresistible.
How to store:
This rice with ginger recipe is perfect for meal-prepping as it can be stored for a week in the fridge and up to 2 months in the freezer.
Transfer them to an air-tight container after they cool down before storing.
