20-Minute Easy Pasta Alfredo Pesto ( Gluten-Free )

This pasta alfredo pesto screams delicious and it is easy enough to throw together for any occasion. Just mix the pasta with Alfredo pesto sauce (link), and garnish it with shredded mozzarella, and you'll have a decadent dish ready for the serving.

  • See the recipe and make a delicious creamy sauce.
  • Boil some water in a pot, add oil and salt to it, and soak the pasta in for 8-10 minutes till al dante.
  • Reserve some pasta water, and sieve out the rest. Sprinkle black pepper powder on top of the pasta for extra flavor.
  • Now, toss the pasta with the sauce till the pasta gets nicely drenched in it.
  • Sprinkle some shredded mozzarella, and even add chopped parsley or basil on top.
  • Your pasta alfredo pesto is ready to be served.

Notes

  • Additions: Add some roasted veggies, and/or grilled meat to the pasta for a proper filling meal.
  • Drizzle oil on pasta after boiling: In order to avoid pasta from sticking together after boiling, drizzle some oil on it and mix them well.
 
How to store:
In the fridge: You can store the pasta in the refrigerator for 3-5 days by placing it in an air-tight container.
In the freezer: As for storing the pasta in the freezer, consume it within 2 months before the flavor spoils.
Thawing: Defrost the pasta at room temperature, then heat it in a skillet. Add hot water if the pasta is too thick.
Store the pasta and sauce separately: The best way to store this dish is to store them independently. This way, their life extends, and they remain fresh for a longer time.
